Long story about what's going on,
I had to get my first triumph replaced about 2 weeks ago. I had backed it up with a nandroid and titanium backup. I procceded to install the nandroid backup on the new phone. Everything went well for a while untill one day when the phone just shut itself off.
I need to reflash Paranoid Android and I'd like to use Titanium Backup but if I backup to my Gnex built in SD card, isn't that going to get wiped when I install and wipe everything before install?
Afternoon, I know this will cross over a load of threads so I don't want anyone to spend a lot of time replying just a few bullet points.
I had my phone all how I liked it and then a new ROM was released the other week...........so I backup all apps and data with Titanium backup.
So back on my Evo 4G whenever I wanted to flash a new rom, I would load it on my SD card. Then boot into custom recovery and wipe cache/Dalvik... Then would wipe ALL data/factory reset. Then I would install my new rom off of my SD card.
With my S3, I cannot access anything on my SD via CWM recovery.
I found my Desire hung this afternoon (blank screen with orange led flashing), hence rebooted via removal of battery. The phone must have been in the middle of some sd card I/O when it locked up, as the phone rebooted with the default CM7 screen and now states that the SD card cannot be read.
I have a simpke question, i dont have a computer causr it broke so...im gonna make a backup with titanium backup, not thebpro version....so the backup its located in the emulated sd card , when i wipe the phone to flash the rom, does it wipe the emulated sd card too, so will i lose the backup i made????

Hi there
Using ARHD 9.0 at the mom but would like to try the criskelo latest.
When i installed the ARHD i followed the instruction and placed the Rom file on my EXT sd card, then proceded on superwipe which removed everything on my INTERN SD card, and then installed the rom from my EXT sd card which remained intact...
Can anyone tell me what the settings should be on my Galaxy S3 in order to save a Titanium backup to the external SD card? While I had Titanium and used it on my HTC Sensation without a problem, I have encountered that when I have it on my T-mo Galaxy SIII, it saves the backups to the internal 16 GB memory by default, not the SD card.
I booted into recovery, did a factory reset/wipe, i did it 3 times, and also wiped the cache partition 3 times and I formatted my sd card in my computer 3 times. And then I put the sim and sd card back in the phone and booted up, set my settings for my phone but never turned on data and never set up a google account yet.
So why..in the world..
