http://androidforums.com – So I bought my Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G over the summer and broke it while camping. It was still under warranty so I sent it into Samsung and they fixed it for me. However, when I got it back, I noticed a few issues, most importantly that my screen will NOT lock when I press the power button. I tried messing with the settings, no matter what my lock screen security is set as it still won't lock. I tried doing a master reset, clearing the cache, letting the battery totally die and then doing a master reset, and I've contacted both T Mobile and Samsung technical support and have had no luck. Hi all -

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 4G. 3g, 4g, WiFi all work fine during use.

My problem relates to 3g/4g ("mobile internet") turning off when the phone has spent >3 minutes in the lock screen.

I can get 3g/4g to turn back on by clicking the home button/power key and then also entering my pattern to pass the lock screen.

Good Morning-

Since I did the GB update through mini-Kies, seems randomly my cappy would become completeely unresponsive. I'd press the right button and get the un-lock screen, but nothing after that. I'd push again to get the shutdown, etc screen, but nothing from touchpad.

Its been getting worse, and most f day yesterday had issues.

I was wondering whether anyone else has experienced these strange issues with the lock screen.

1. When I press the lock (sleep) button on the side of the phone, the screen turns off, but often when I put the phone down straight afterwards it comes back on by itself. There are no notifications, messages, battery alerts etc either, it just unlocks and sits on the home screen.

i have own samsung galaxy y pro duos GT B5512 and question is that could anybudy tell me about is there any other way to unlock the device without pressing power (when screen goes off) button, i mean to say like samsung galaxy y s5360 where we can press home button to stay screen on? If after rooting device is it possible please tell me. My idea behind asking this Q.

When I talk about "locking", there are two different things I mean.

Been noticing it on all variants of JB ROM: rasbean jelly, AOSP, OTA. When you lock the screen and expect it to turn off, it goes blank then flashes on just a sec before finally turning off for good. It doesn't matter how you lock it: could be using your power button, screen off and lock app, or the sleep button in notification widgets.

Sorry, I am new to android. When I setup lock screen and turn off, the screen does not have the lock screen I setup when I turn it back on. It still show the swipe screen, no pin lock or password screen. Now if i power off and reboot then it show up. Also if I set up a type of pass lock then I can't use the lock widget anymore. It just won't show when I scroll right or left.

is there any way or mod that we can get ripple lock screen to our samsung galaxy sl ??

i have tried many application like widget locker , go locker , holo locker etc but they cant give complete look of galaxy s3 lock screen.

can anyone port this lock screen to cm10 rom or any custom rom that our device support ???

Hey there..

I installed a custom rom using this tutorial: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...63&postcount=2 I then lost my imei and couldn't make/receive calls. So I spent like 12 hours wallowing in sorrow and pondering.. I then used ODIN to flash param bin and successfully got my imei back ! Woot! But now, there is a box on my screen, screenshot. And I can't lock my screen.
