My wife dropped her phone and cracked the screen. I bought a new screen and attempted to fix it however ended up making it much worse. The phone powers on and the screen is back-lit but I get nothing on the screen. I decided to just buy her a new phone.
I would like to sell the old phone for parts but need to wipe the data first.
I have no idea what happened, but I looked down at my phone at some point today and noticed that most of the apps on my home screen where just he Android icon. I go to my app folder and it lists most apps in gray and says SD Card next to them.
Is there any way for me to always unlock to my default home screen rather than the home screen I was on when my phone locked? I find it annoying to never know where my phone is going to open up.
Hey folks,
I have a system with three screens running Ubuntu 11.10 86_64. Those screens are located next to each other and the X-Server is configured with Xinerama.
The screen in the middle is the main screen and all desktop-icons are located on the left one by default (files, links, ...). If I want to move one of these icons to another screen, I try to drag and drop those.
Hey all,
Had an account here before but forgot my password and no longer have the email :(. Anyway, my phone got damp while out on a cycle ride last night. At first the screen was working and then it started to appear slightly green and had horizontal lines across it. Now the screen is completely blank.
I'm trying to install Fedora 16, 64 bit, on a Toshiba Satellite C855-S5206. Single hard drive, 8GB RAM. I did have Ubuntu 12.1 running on it, but I don't like its interface much. No other installed OS. In the install sequence of windows (screens) the screen appears left/right split. In that the right side of the screen is to the left of what should be the left edge.
I recently rooted using odin, and all seemed to go well, much to my relief as this was my first attempt. After rooting I downloaded a bunch of apps (all from google play) ad free, uninstallers, root checker, wifi password finder,titanium....... oh, and noMoarPowah by Chainfire, which I'll get to in a sec. I uninstalled Swype, did Nandroid backup.........
So a new issue has arrived with my phone where i can have like 40% or so battery left and my phone will just die. And when i turn it back on it says my battery is completely dead. This is weird and annoying the heck out of me. i was just on the phone and i still had 25% left. I was trying to send a text message and realized my touch screen was acting wonky.
I want to customize my s3 home screen with my favorite "go to" apps and widgets. The problem is that it appears that there are actually 7 home screens, all of which share the main apps at the bottom. How can I set one to be the home screen the back button always takes you to?
