Hey guys, back with another issue with my father's phone. So this has just recently been happening. His phone will shut off out of no where only when he used the internet or uses an app like facebook or the camera. He can only browse the internet for a couple minutes and it shuts off. When he tries to turn it back on, it says to connect it back to the charger. But the battery was like at 80%.
Is anyone having problems with their Samsung Galazy S II? My phone shuts down and the battery is fully charged & after phone shuts down I try to turn phone back on & receive message battery critically low. After this happens I charge phone & battery status shows battery half charge. can someone help me on this
After updating my LG Thrive to 4.04 from 2.35 I have seen horrible battery life.
Although I had already done a factory reset I decided to try removing the battery to see if that would help.
From 100% to near death in 18 minutes!
This was on CM7 test ROM B.I feel that there is an issue in the newer CM7 ROMs that won't let the battery charge correctly. When I did wipes on the ROM cache and battery stats I still get issues.
This is from my new battery that the phone said was fully charged when the phone was off.It shut off once in the 40 some minutes that it was on.

My phone was working perfectly fine (performance-wise) before I decided to do a factory reset. My reasoning for this was because I was running low on phone memory and wanted to clear any erronous garbage that had accumulated on my phone over time.
Well, here is the problem! Ever since the reset (I've don'e multiple), the phone software drains my battery within 5 minutes of being on.
i just got a replacement phone from my insurance provider and up until the last couple of days or so everything was fine
recently though, i've had a problem with the battery. the battery life is pretty decent, but every once in a while the phone will just randomly shut off, then when i turn the phone back on the battery will be drained by a significant amount.
I dropped my phone on accident and the back cover and battery came out. Well when I put them back in my phone will not come back on. I've tried hooking up to a charger that works to get it on, took the battery out and back in several times.
I have two LG Optimus V phones. Suddenly yesterday, one started having an issue where the phone doesn't seem to be recognizing the charging status of the battery. The battery is not the problem. I put in the battery from the working phone into the sick phone and it does not recognize that the battery is fully charged from that phone either.
I purchased an extended battery, a Motorola branded BP7X for a Droid 2 phone. It's rated at 3.7 volts/1820 mAh. I tested it with a volt-ohm meter and got a reading of 4.2 volts.
When I install the battery in the phone and connect the charger (phone is off), the charging graphic shows the battery is fully charged.
