Support Samsung notes camera issue :(

http://androidforums.com – Hay all, Just recently started using camera on samsung note and i get nothing but black screens like in some videos on youtube regarding samsung gs3 I also get bubble message over camera display: "warning camera failed" but if i restart phone and activate camera again i can still access all settings but then app crashes saying kill off or wait for app come back. I deleted all my music, games, movies, some say it needs update. Strange thing is when i do reboot phone and start up the flashlight stops for few seconds when i activate app button then on second time flash comes up. (General)

My phone is turned on for hours, then i was going to use my camera. When i tap on my camera icon , my camera just show a black screen and a notice saying "Camera failed", anybody here knows why?

Hello, I've been noticing a problem with my s3. I noticed the camera failed to start when I opened the camera app, and it said camera failed to start. I restarted the phone which seemed to fix the problem, but after switching the cameras from front to back the whole phone itself crashed and rebooted. I don't know what's causing this, but I'm worried it might be a defect with the phone.

Hello fellow xda members,

Today I was flashing my i9000 from android 4.0.4 (team ICSSGS) To CM10. Camera was not working too well at the 4.0.4, (this was the main reason to flash to CM10.

After flashing CM10 it gave immediate "camera not responding" messages when opening the camera. So then i flashed back to android 2.3.5 XXJVT.

So a while back the camera started getting fritzy. I can load it up just fine, and I can see through the "viewfinder" just fine...for like two seconds. Then I get the "not responding: force close / wait" message. Also, notably, all of the camera's options/tweaks are gone (flash, focus, etc). The area where those icons normally are is just blank.

Hi good afternoon, I have red some forums for my SGT p1000, but never found answer to my question.

I have tried several ROM (4.04, 4.1.1) but still can't find the one with good camera. While opening the camera, it always crashed "Camera not responding". Also, tried some application from Google Play as advised in other forums but they still failed.

today I upgraded the firmware on the tmobile note 2, had a quadrant benchmark of 6400. when I went into the camera, the "camera failed" dialog appeared I restarted the phone, and the camera worked. Does this happen sometimes after upgrading the firmware? The firmware update was OTA

I found out that when the battery is to low to use the flash, you can turn on assistive lighting (flashlight) then launch the camera app and have light while using the camera.

I'm running CM7.2 with the stock CM kernel and no CPU tweaks.

About a week ago my camera just up and stopped working, "Activity camera (in application camera) is not responding".
