I know this is trivial but there's a somewhat new monochrome GNOME icon that many third-party icon sets seem to miss - it's for a USB device that is larger than 8.0 Gib so it does not get a pendrive monochrome icon in Nautilus but not big enough to get a external HD one.
What is the name of this particular icon so we can tweak our icon themes to make Nautilus show the correct monochrome i
I have an unknown icon in my notification bar. A little black window with white horizontal lines. I have turned off all notifications, stopped programs from loading at startup and searched though all programs for similar icon with no luck. Help if you can please.
Hye all. I just using n2 for 3weeks and just recently, there is some icon appear at notification bar. With this I attached the pic to make it clear. But, that icon just seldomly appear. Can someone help me why is that icon appear?
I am new to Ubuntu, using Ubuntu 12.04. What happened is that i right clicked the trash icon, clicked the icon and changed it to some icon i downloaded from internet. After changing it, i realized that i does not work properly. I since yday, i have been trying to change it back to the default icon. I deleted the downloaded icon and now it shows just a white icon.
I know it may sound dumb, but for some reason after finally figuring out how to do launchers and icon packs (feel like i've been trapped in a cave for years) i want to change the contacts icon on my phone to a rolodex type icon. I tried searching through the play store but nothing comes up with a specific icon, just the typical search results.
I searched the forums and couldn't find anything close to the mystery icon that showed up recently on my HTC evo 3D:
It's the second icon from the left, between the More Notifications icon and the Data icon. I've been trying for hours to figure out what it is. I'm sure it's a custom icon from some app, but I haven't installed a new app recently.
I know, one can uninstall or blacklist a particular app or service so that it doesn't show up on the top menu bar, but is there a way you can voluntarily, and safely (without any Terminal bashing or changing the system (read uninstall)) remove an icon?
For example, I don't need Ubuntu One now, or the Mail icon.
