http://androidforums.com – the rom that was used to root sucks (laggy and slow), where do i go to get new roms. also i cannot install any updates. they download, but after restarting it says it caint mount sd card and installation fails. thanks for the help (General)

My phone is s off and bootloader is unlocked and I seem to have superuser status. I'm not sure if I have rooted my phone properly but I am able to download roms from CWM in android and it does ask to grant permission.

Hi y'all I have ATT Samsung Infuse 2.3.5 Edge. I had it rooted about 8 months ago to use with T-Mobile. All was fine for several months til I did the check for updates and there were and of course I did it. Yea I know better now. But the guy who actually rooted my phone was out of town so I took to someone he recommended. The phone works ie. calling, texting, going on the internet.

I tried to root my phone, followed all the steps and everything. Then I went to go use root explorer and it said i had no root. so i was like forget this. Now my phone is REALLY laggy... what did i do to it?! All i did was root, then install Superuser, uninstalled it, installed busybox, uninstalled it, installed SuperSU, uninstalled it. Now my phone is so laggy.

Out of the box before connecting it to VZW?

Or, wait for it take any updates?

I will install OTA Root keeper after first root.

Should I wait for OTA updates or just and get them over with with Kies if that is an option?

I am prepared to root ICS or JB.

Hey guys i have a huge problem. I have a Rogers HTC One X that is rooted. I installed cm10 and I didn't like it so I booted into twrp recovery and wiped EVERYTHING, I wasn't thinking. so there is no ROM on the phone. I have the stock ROM but I couldn't get it onto the phone because twrp wouldn't let me mount my SD.

i rooted my phone so i could install Mms.apk, because it somehow got deleted, but now that its rooted when i try to use Android Commander to copy the Mms.apk file on to the phone it says that i don't have ROOT permissions but on my phone everything says it is root. Any suggestions on how to install the .apk?
