Support Resetting File Association (Movie Player)??

http://androidforums.com – Hi all. Just purchased my first Android device and boy...is this a learning curve! This forum is great and generally so far, so good. I wanted to play a few .mov files which I just copied from my PC. Of course Google Play Movies doesn't work so -- as some suggested -- I downloaded RockPlayerLite which worked fine. But launching Play Movies, I mistakenly selected Use Always which associates video files (including .mov files) to the Google App. Of course, the error box says "Can't Play This Video" but I don't see a way to undo my "Use Always/Just This Once" selection. HI,

Does anyone know how to play .wmv files, i have tried downloading and installing the following:

" GStreamer ffmpeg video plugin Codecs to play mpeg, divx, mpeg4, ac3, wmv and asf files "

Alos tried using both VLC media player and movie player, in movie player the video does not show but i can hear the audio and in media player i get the following error:

"No suitable decode

Google play button is gone 12 weeks 5 days ago

I use the Google play to play my MP3s. Somehow the "play" selection is now gone. I can't "stop" a list from playing, and I can't hit "play" on a new selection. It only has "add to queue"

I tried deleting it and reinstalling it, well you can't delete it, and the new install didn't work either.

I guess I need to find another music player?

I have a problem to play video in res 720p on my xperia x10 now im using DiXperia8 - Stock version, before install DX8 when i wos have android 2.3.3 videos play good (no lag) in oryginal video player and in "MX Video Player", after install DX8 standard app named "QuicPic" say that he cant open that video file.

the movies play a little laggy 22 weeks 2 days ago

I have installed Fedora 17 DVD. Any movie I play in any movie player I try is a little bit laggy.

Where on your device are the apk files that you download from Google Play (as opposed to side loading) stored? I just downloaded a floating video player app, Popcorn Player, from the market yesterday and I like it better than my previous favorite floater "Super Video" because it supported YouTube playback.

So ... I travel fairly frequently, so my wife got me a tablet for Christmas for the plane trips.

It's a Le Pan II running ICS.

I love the damn thing, but the Google Play & Movies app is pissing me off (can I say that on here? guess I'll find out)

So I transferred some movies to my sdCard, watched them on the last trip.

Hopefully you can help me out here im having a bit of trouble. I have Sony's NSX-46GT1 HDTV and what i am looking to do is Plug my External HD into the TV through USB and then play my movies from my EXT HD on the TV.

Google Play Movies missing! 40 weeks 1 day ago

Hello everybody,

ICS on P7510 amazes me again, this time with Google Play Movies. It came with ICS (UK update), my son made a short movie, which showed in the filelist in Play Movies. Suddenly, the Google Play Movies shortcut disappeared from my Tab, although in my app list in Google Play, it appeared as installed.
