Phone is rooted but stock ROM. I can't get incoming text messages or emails to be read via TTS no matter what I try. I remember it worked a long time ago. I'm using Widget Locker for lock Screen with slider and Nova Launcher and GoSMS Pro for SMS. Checked settings under Accessibility and Google Text-to-speech engine is selected and Driving Mode slider is ON.
Well I just got the VM 4G a few days ago, and I transfered my apps and data from my triumph with tb. I use gosms pro, and for some reason my texts dont que the notification sound to go off, even though i have the sound set up in phone settings and gosms settings. The notification sound does however work for some other notifications that go off.
I got this phone last week, coming from an EVO 4G with which I used Go SMS Pro for years with no problems with MMS whatsoever. However, now with the Optimus G I'm having some serious problems. Group messages and MMS aren't working properly with GoSMS Pro. Namely, they aren't being sent - unless I send them from the stock messages app. Is anyone else having this problem?
I am now banging my head on my desk after several hours of trying to resolve this issue.
Bought phone used a few weeks ago. Every thing has been working fine. Yesterday the phone froze up while answering a call. Now the phone's power button stopped waking up the phone. It will wake up if I plug it into the charger.
Gosms has really taken a direction i do not like, no longer allowing you to locally backup sms and now wanting to charge to backup your private box.
It's there another SMS app that has comparable features to GOSMS (i.e. lockable private box, great ics or dark themes)

I've used both Handcent and GoSMS, and like the customization options. I don't expect the stock app to go the extent, but is there anyway at all to at lease change the color or something?

I got my phone repaired and the guy updated it to ice cream sandwich????.... Now my text alerts have gone wonky, sometimes I get a notification and sometimes not. My sent texts are being received twice and I've had to remove gosms as the privacy box settings have gone too. Can anyone advise please?
I cant receive but not send sms text messagea. I downloaded GOsms and that. Is when it stopped working so I uninstalled the app GOsms and still cannot send my messages. What do I do
I can't delete pictures that were sent to me and they were put in my gs3 gallery. There is no delete option and I can't find the files on phone. Tried deleting GoSMS and they are still there. Very annoying. Any help?
