When I installed 12.04 I also added Ubuntu-restricted-extras. I decided to try accessing flash content in Firefox without the Adobe plugin, and I wanted to experiment with streaming video directly with VLC, so I removed flashplugin-installer.
Hello
Been having problems with flash, and I really need some help.
I have tried to uninstall and reinstall in yast
no luck. uninistalled again.
I downloaded and installed Adobe Flash 10 rpm direct from adobe.
I shut down firefox and then restarted...went to youtube....
no luck. I get the annoying error:
Recently installed Lubuntu 12.04 with alternate installer on Compaq Evo N400c (850Mhz PIII, 20GB ATA HDD, 512MB RAM).
After installation of restricted extras and medibuntu codecs I realized that it can't play videos. I tried Midori, Firefox, Chrome, Chromium but all the browsers say: "Shockwave plugin cannot opened...." I tried Adobe plugin, no succes.
I've been trying to watch Amazon Prime videos on the Note 8.0. I have used the new (and wonderful) browser xScope which automatically walks you through the installation of the Adobe Flash player.
After the set up, both xScope and FireFox both can view Flash content on many websites.
However, I have not had any luck with Amazon Prime videos.
Hi, I just installed Fedora 16 and am using Firefox.
When I go youtube, at the top of the first page it says "You need to upgrade your adobe flash player to watch this video".
Hello,
I have noticed when I go to ufc.com using Chrome or Firefox the shockwave flash player does not work. I believe the issue is with my plugins. I entered my plugin page and I noticed I had two adobe flash plugins that where enabled.
I know the nexus 7 doesn't support flash and from what I have read, neither does then iPad. Yet videos will play on my wife's iPad but when I try to watch it says adobe flash is required to watch it. What gives?

I'm running 12.04 and have a problem with the new version of the RTE player, which uses Flash. I've tried Chrome, Firefox and Opera, but all hit the same problem.
