This morning while on the phone walking into work, my device suddenly dropped the call, and when I looked at it the screen was black, the samsung logo came up, and the Darkside splash screen appeared. The bar under the splash screen filled about maybe 1/4 of the way, before my phone began to go into an infinite boot loop. The only way for me to end the bootloop is to pull the battery out.
My SGS2 was working all morning until I pulled it out of my pants after class today.
It was on rooted stock ics, and I have no idea how it could have bricked in the first place.
First symptom was a bootloop.
Been given this phone to fix (Xperia Mini ST15).
Firstly the problem was, woke up one morning and the phone was dead completey, no response to anything, so after putting in a charged battery it came on but was boot looping, but it took about 3 - 4 attempts just to get the sony logo up (It doesnt vibrate when the logo comes up either).

I had CM10 on my phone, and today I tried flashing back to stock and now am stuck on the Samsung logo on boot.
Here's the process I've followed:
Wipe/Factory reset using CWM
Deleted everything on internal SD card
Downloaded T999UVALEM_T999TMBALEM_T999UVALEM_HOME.tar.md5
Flashed using Odin
Odin said successful, but on reboot it never gets passed the Samsung logo
I tried flashing again, but th
I am rooted and unlocked. I was running CM10 and tried to flash Lean Kernel on it (I have never tried to flash a different kernel so I have a feeling this is where I went wrong). After flashing the new Kernel, the Samsung Galaxy SIII boot logo would appear, then go away and leave the hardware keys lit up.
Received a replacement phone. Rooted it no problem with Gingerbreak 1.2
Installed CMW TJstyle69. Ejected and booted into CMW. (this is one area I know I screwed up, and I know better) Flashed the last rom ginger sharp 2.2 forgot to factory wipe with dalvik/cache. When I realized it, it had already started flashing. Now it will go to the moto logo and continually reboot back to the logo.
