Using Titanium backup I removed Voice command and installed s voice and started playing around with it working flawlessly. I went to market and started updating my apps (Just got the phone a few days ago) and tried to take a screenshot. I forgot what the command was (Power and home?) and I held power too long not knowing it's a force restart, and my phone well, restarted....
hi guys i really ur help !i replaced my phone.apk an now it's force closing !! i have the backup of my original phone.apk but the thing is that i cant get past that force close error ....what should i do ??? can it be done through pc ? i have windows operating system !!
I was running CarbonROM and wanted to try out a TW ROM. I booted into my recovery (TWRP), backed up Carbon, went to wipe options, did a Factory Reset, pushed the button to wipe system, it started but after a couple seconds the phone rebooted. I try boot back into recovery by holding down the power, VOL up, and home button.
Hi guys I'm having issues with a force close,
Force close started coming up on a daily basis stopping me from viewing my picture gallery and facebook. Now i turn on my phone and get a message saying the phone was doing a force close, "it is turning my screen to idle and says i have no sim or nthe process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly.

I have just bought a second hand S2 - The guy factory reset it before giving me it.
Booted it up ran through the set up but the phone is useless as TwLauncher force closes before I can do anything.
A lot of people have had this issue resolved by;

I bought a used phone. After booting in bootloader, it reads tempered and relocked.
Then i selected the option "recovery"... It showed some stock recovery type animation for a few seconds.... And when the phone booted, the phone was like factory reset.... Not even the sd card files were there... Completely wiped.
Is it normal?
Also how to check if it is rooted or not?
please am having the same problem,i haven't been able to use my phone in the past 3 days,it keeps telling me "the samsung home screen has stopped unexpectedly,and i have being force closing but to no avail,i have even tried the steps that was given but i didnt work out,when i turn off the phone,press and hold the home key and on button,i dont see any 4 options as listed instead the phone ons

I've rooted my s4 earlier before this happen but it's just weird..
I turn off my phone to reboot it and it always went into recovery mode.
So I said **** it and wiped the data and cache, thankfully it booted up(data wiped though...)
I decide to test to see if this was a "factory" reset, so I turned it off, turned it back and bull****.

My lock screen just started flashing when going to my home screen. I can see the clock flashing like 5 times as the home screen appears.
This happens whether or not the phone is locked.
It just started BTW.
I've cleared the cache/powered off and on the phone a few times.
Any ideas? I have just a background pic, not Live Wallpaper, if that matters.
Phone is stock ICS.
