I'm currently trying to maximize my battery life and I ran into something weird.
I've currently have tasker on disabling and enabling data (screen on/off), greenifying, kt747 with under volt and under clock etc.
Under normal usage I can probably get 2-2.5 hours of screen time and a total of 6 hours of usage time at work.
Hi I'm new here but I've experienced the gsiff_daemon issue on my s3 which drains the craps out of your battery and shows up on tour battery usage screen as android system. Thus is my attempt to help out others who may have this issue . So if your battery screen is showing android system is using like 70%+ then you most likely have the same issue.
MEMORY Usage should also be captured in a table format with usage by each user. Columns should be a.System time b.User c.Percentage usage
Report should be published with d.current usage status e.Trend over last 3 quarter f.Usage by user
When usage of MEMORY is more than 75%, system should send an alert to admin with usage report
I've been running really really low on ram lately, and I have no idea what to do to keep the usage low. I believe I have 1gb. Minus the system reserve, that's about 780mb. When I check the usage, it says I have about 16mb left. Im running the official release of the Carbon Mod.
How to limit CPU usage with CPULimit on Ubuntu Linux
This document describes how to limit CPU usage in Ubuntu 14.04. I will use CPU-limit utilty for this purpose. Cpulimit is a tool which limits the CPU usage of a process (expressed in percentage, not in CPU time). It is useful to control batch jobs, when you don't want them to eat too many CPU cycles.
A few hours ago I was bored and looking what my phone settings have (Sony Xperia Tipo) and in the data usage section I moved the warning for data usage, a notification appeared (A red triangle with an exclamation mark) that says "Data usage warning for Android", I've tried increasing the data usage warning but it doesn't help, the notification is still there.
