Samsung didn’t just unveil a new flagship smartphone today, it also introduced a cover accessory for that device with unique features. The S View cover has an integrated pass-through window for the main display, which can provide at-a-glance access to basic info such as call display, SMS, current battery status and time.
Hi,
I'm using ubuntu 11.10 (64 bit) on a Dell Latitude E5410.
Since yesterday my main display is blacked out. My External display however does function correctly.
Rebooting the system, disconnecting the external display and changing the preferences in the display preferences doesn't change anything.
What can I do next?
Kind regards Bram
Smartwatches don’t seem to be as popular as I thought they would be, but I still think there’s going to be a lot of growth in this area. It looks like Google might be thinking the same thing. A Nexus smartwatch just might create the excitement to get mainstream consumers to jump in.
Dear All,
I am very new to ubuntu but not to the UNIX world.
Here is my problem: I use to connect to my HP-UX server's CDE via Reflection X. Now I want to do the same via ubuntu. Can I do this using native xterm?
I have Macbook Pro with OSX 10.6.8. It is connected to external display (HP 2311x) using Thunderbolt to HDMI cable.
My Macbook display goes to sleep after every 15 minutes of inactivity but the external display won't go to sleep. It does try to go to sleep but wake up immediately. It does that in never ending loop.
So, I am running fedora on a IBM Thinkpad T42 with a busted display and I cant seem to get Fedora to let me log in or anything because it will not use the external display, is there any way to modify the setting to force it to use the external display within a Windows environment?
