While USB is good enough for the regular user, high-end power users will benefit greatly from the performance and flexibility offered by the Thunderbolt. Here are eight of the best Thunderbolt devices available.
I not sure if this has anything to do with the root!! HTC thunderbolt 2.3.4
i rooted my htc thunderbolt a few months ago.. the last few days ive had issues with my phone shutting off while im using it(with full charge). it does it every time. if your on the phone for more then 2 minutes it will shut off. if you turn it on right after it shuts off it will show the battery at 3-14%.
We’ve got some somewhat reassuring news for Thunderbolt owners from HTC. After the upgrade date came and went in August for Thunderbolt owners, many people were more than a little disappointed. One disgruntled owner reached out to HTC on Twitter and got a vague response.

Hello, New to this so here it goes: I have a HTC Thunderbolt had it for two years, I dropped it last Saturday and now the screen flickers sometimes and I have dead spots now. I really love this phone. I didnt break the screen, it does have a protective cover. could I have just dislodged the digitizer cable?
Partly thanks to Verizon Wireless' 4G LTE network, HTC's Thunderbolt is the fastest phone eWEEK has tested. The $250 price for the Android 2.2 phone is high, and HTC and Verizon need to work on extending battery life, but users who have access to Verizon's 4G network will be sorely tempted by the Thunderbolt's speed, big screen, and nicely tuned eight-megapixel camera, says this eWEEK review....
My Thunderbolt has been giving me problems...and I think it will be covered under the year warranty (good through April). It won't receive texts...I can send them, but can't receive. I've wiped last week and that solved the problem...but apparently only temporarily.
Anyway...I'm hoping that once I take it in to Verizon they no longer have the Thunderbolt available.

Got my GSIII from Costco on Black Friday, and I can't believe it! Even though I got a good deal on it, wish I had gotten this phone earlier. Coming from an HTC Thunderbolt on its last legs, this phone is amazing. I can't believe how fast everything is, and how fluid everything is. And it's so light! I forget its in my pocket! Within minutes, I was rooted, thanks to the work done by devs.
I would just like to get a general idea of the amount of users still active in the thunderbolt community and who will be soon upgrading? And
if your upgrading can you say what phoneand why and if your staying say why? Thanks
