Support Micro USB Port

Hi xda. I cant charge my phone. I made tests with 3 original micro usb cable, and got nothing(wall and usb). I got no led, no sounds when i plug it. So, I tried with a universal charger for batteries, and it works. So i guess my battery is fine. Apparently my problem is the micro usb port. I do not have warranty.

Iv lost my my Micro USB cable for my note, so have tryed 3 other Micro USB cables I have in the house & none of them will charge the phone......How-every the Micro USB cable from my girlfriends HTC sensation work fine, so not really sure what I should be looking for when ordering a replacement?

I want to root, S-Off, etc - and install a custom ROM on my HTC Desire HD, however I have a unique challenge in that the micro USB port on my phone is faulty. It will charge if I use a micro USB cable from a WD My Passport, portal hard drive, because for some reason these are a little larger than the standard micro usb cable.

Why doesn't Samsung put micro-USB port on tablets? I find it rather inconvenient having to carry two cables(phone and tablet) when I travel...

Is there a reason for having a multi-pin cable? (other than for the desktop docks, which I never use)

I'm coming to a RAZR HD from an old Droid Pro and noticed that my Droid Pro's Micro USB charger doesn't charge the HD very well -- it acts like the cable isn't plugged in very well and switches between charging/not charging. If I compare the Pro's charger to the one for the RAZR I notice the RAZR's metal connector is just a tad bit longer, probably about 1mm.

I would love to move ~ 15 gb of music off of my laptop onto my Galaxy Note 2 before my next trip.

I watched the video in the sticky section, and eagerly ordered one of these:

I'd like to buy a new and extra cable (not the charger) to connect my device to my computer and charge it then as well.

Apparently this kind of cable, micro data usb, seems to be universal. Is it really so as I don't want to damage it if I buy a generic cable.

Any help me would be great :)

I noticed while playing MC3, [Paranoid Android rom] my battery percentage would slowly drop. I was plugged into the stock charger, but I was using a 3rd party [longer] micro USB cable.

I plugged in the stock asus micro USB, and I thought it started charging again.

what's up with this? just a cheap cable?

Anyone here bought already or currently using 64 GB micro sd? Been looking for one from ebay and theres a lot there ranging $50-$70 just dont want to get some clone micro sd. Please post where you got yours and link to store. Thanks
