I rooted my zte merit like the post "All things root [zte] merit" said to. Everything on it is running 1000X's better, but now I do not receive any multimedia messages, can anyone help me out here? That's the only downfall is multimedia messages I can still get online, still connect to wifi, still use 3G, just no multimedia messaging.
I asked this in the noob section but hoping some aria users may have input for me.
I've been frequenting the site for a while now and I can't find my answer anywhere. Well I can but not for my phone. I have an HTC Aria that I recently rooted and used this thread Since then I've had few problems but I noticed today that my phone no longer downloads MMS on it's own.
So out of the blue my s3 decided that it will not send ANY texts longer than 160 characters. I've rebooted the phone several times, cleared data for the messaging app, deleted text history, none of that has worked. Before now, I could send texts of any length with no issue. Is there anything I can do? I have the stock OS (not rooted) and am using the stock messaging app.
I had rooted my phone shortly after I got in in February (AT&T G Flex) using ioroot. Works great. The phone OTA'd to D950n. Yesterday AT&T finally released KitKat for it. I tried to install it and get an error message (code says 0X1111004) and the phone reboots. After reboot, it says OTA can't be done because the phone is suspected of being rooted.
Hello everyone, I have a problem. I bought a rooted Evo with the 4 Kornerz (4.1.2v) Rom. I tried to activate the phone and Sprint told me that they can't activate rooted phones. Does anyone know how to activate a rooted phone? Is there a way to temporarily unroot the phone? Do I have to go back to stock? He used Revolutionary and the boot key to root the phone it was a 2.3.3v.
Ok, I bought this zte merit z990g from Net10 back in Feb (runs on at&t towers)
I was sent a text yestetday telling me to follow the link to update my browser, yet when i did, nothing happened. Also, Im needing to know can I change the gingerbread stock to a different one, or will that mess my phone up? If so, how to I go about that?
I recently purchased a new ZTE™ Savvy Straight Talk phone and somehow someone Linux rooted it or switched it with an identical rooted phone. I cannot install apps, safely purchase anything or safely enter any personal information on it. I cannot afford a new phone. Is it possible to re root this phone so I can control it? Can I return it to factory settings?
I rooted my phone using Motochopper, but I would like to unroot. Unfortunately it is not exactly clear as to whether my phone is actually rooted - Superuser installed during the root process, but other indicators show that my phone is not rooted. Not sure what to do at this point (worried about bricking of course).
