http://androidforums.com – I have an Acer Iconia Tab A200. It supposed to have 8 GB of ROM and 1 GB of RAM. I bought it as a refurbished unit. I have just received it back from warranty repair for the second time. When I go into Settings, About tablet, Device Information, it reports 8 GB of ROM and 1 GB of RAM. That is what I expect. I do not have an SD card installed. When I go into Settings, Storage, under INTERNAL STORAGE it reports Total Space of 5.20GB and Available of 4.92GB. Some of the 5.2GB is taken up with Apps, Audio and Misc. It looks to be about right amount to account for the difference in Total Space an (General)

Hiya,

My PE was synchonizing some files from the internal memory /sdcard wirelessly to dropbox when suddently it run out of battery and it turned itself off.

When I turn it back on I received the messages: * Preparing /sdcard * /sdcard damaged

I've tried resetting the device but still same problem.

The PE settings display: * Data storage device => Internal Storage * Internal

Below is an anomaly regarding the memory on my HTV Evo View on Dexters JB Rom.

When i go into Settings > Storage, the display on the side is divided into two vertical fields.

The top one says "Internal Storage" > Total Space 7.88 GB, Available 7.47 GB (I guess this is where the app files reside)

The bottom one again says "Internal Storage" > Total Space 19.80 GB, Av

Hi, I have a weird problem with my S2 running samsung stock ICS 4.0.3. i have been using sgs2 for over a year now and whenever my free internal storage goes below 2.5GB i move the apps to SD card. But now No. of apps in SDcard has hit the Android limit so i simply delete the Apps. But off late that is not freeing up my internal memory.

I got this phone a few months ago and when i take a picture and im done editing it and i want to save it, it gives me this "Your SD card is full"

I've been using my phone for about 5 months but recently I faced a problem with the internal storage of my phone. I have a total space of 1.97GB for my internal storage, apps used up 601MB and it says I only have 216MB available. Adding up the apps and available spaces, I should have about 1GB left. I don't know where it go and I can't update my apps now due to the insufficient space.

how much total space/storage does everyone have i only got 12.05gb seem a little low i know there some take away for the os but 4bg seem like its a little to much my gtab had 13.11 of total space/storage i just wanna make sure that normal and im not losing memory...thanks!

At times I try to update an app and it reports that there is "Insufficient storage available". In this case it's Google Chrome Beta, which is already installed so in theory it shouldn't be taking up much more space (other than whatever updates they've added) but replacing the one there.

When I go into Settings>Storage it says I have 129MB free of the 1.11GB internal memory.

I just flashed AOKP's JB rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...3#post30974673).

Problem 1: I receive an error when trying to install some apps, saying "Error: Couldn’t install on USB storage or SD Card”. I read that this is external SD card related? I have found a minor workaround, uninstalling the app then reinstalling it.

Hello everyone. This is my first post on these forums. So i bought a SanDisk 32 GB micro SD card... I am using a mac. My Mac cant see the sd card as external storage. I have enabled MSC and i have mounted the SD card from my phone. In storage settings it says that the total space on sd card is unavailable.
