Support Lost my cursor

http://androidforums.com – I just lost my cursor. I disconnected my tablet from my keyboard dock and when I reconnected it my touchpad cursor doesn't show up. Has anyone else had this issue? I'm just about done with Asus. This is the second keyboard this has happened to and this tablet has some of the same issues all the others had. I can't take this keyboard back. Maybe it's time for a Nexus 10. (General)

Nexus 7 keyboard cursor keys 41 weeks 2 days ago

Hi All,

I've recently received my Nexus 7, and I'm very impressed with it. I do however have a nagging problem.

When typing a URL it's common to make a mistake, and when I do it's a complete pain to go back and edit. There doesn't seem to be any cursor keys on the standard keyboard.

Bought just 6 months ago to help me with work, it is a fabulous kit. ASUS tablet TF201, 32GB model with keyboard dock. Still have the original packaging.

This one is the Grey color. VERY nice conditon 9/10. 2 small scuffs on tablet aluminum but screen is flawless.

The standard Jelly Bean keyboard does not seem to have the option to add cursor navigation keys to the layout. Any recommendations for a Keyboard App that does? I am a clutz with trying to position the cursor with my finger.

When I attach my keyboard dock to the TF300T, I get smoke and a little bit of fire and the tablet turns off. I detach the keyboard and the tablet works fine after turning it back on. I've tried this a handful of times and every time the tablet turns off, the last time it made smoke again.

So I need to send them both in I presume, but I have an unlocked bootloader.

Trouble with docking keyboard. 6 weeks 20 hours ago

My docking keyboard works fine except it no longer will show the cursor on the screen and the pad does nothing. I can type, use all the other function keys, just not any thing to do with the pad. Any thoughts or similar issues. Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF700T using Android Central Forums

Waldorf 11 is causing my cursor to freeze up every so often. If I drag my finger up or down the touchpad, the cursor doesn't move, but the page (when I'm using a webpage) scrolls in the opposite direction. This hasn't happened with any previous stable/unstable version of #! (am using 2012-10-15). Pointing stick works fine even when cursor freezes up.

Does anyone know how to fix my dock from randomly not responding... typically what I currently do to get it working again is to un dock the keyboard from the tablet, is there another solution, or is my keyboard just defective.

Hoping they'd announce(CES ?) the "P10" tablet - same rez, ~11"-ish screen, digitizer, microSD and keyboard dock. One can always hope :)

For now, I am sticking with my TF101. A bit long in the tooth, but for what I use it for, it seems to be OK. After getting used to the keyboard dock (with extra batt in it), it is hard to go back.
