http://androidforums.com – hey guys, just a quick few questions about link2sd app that I'm having issues/concerned about. First one is that ever since I started using link2sd, first with a huawei ascend m860, and now with an LG Esteem MS910, the boot up time has always been a pretty long one. With my LG Esteem, before using link2sd, it would usually take about 2 minutes 30 seconds for it to boot up. [Using # 2 custom Rom on ZVD] I know I have a lot of apps, but when i finally chose to use link2sd, after linking most of my apps, my boot up time is now around 5 minutes. Any reasons why? First a BIG THANK YOU, FJ for the great job. I have some problems with a build from 16.07.2012 First i can not move app to SD. I can move only 5-6 apps, and no more, so after i installed 10 apps my storage was going to full. /Sorry about my bad english/ I have tried to install Link2SD, but it says Link2sd is updating and did not have icon of it.

My Venture, with its puny /data internal storage, benefits greatly from using link2sd. However, when I reboot, the dalvik cache is full of real files, not symlinks, and link2sd doesn't automatically re-link the files. I'm not sure if it's wiping and re-creating the dalvik cache or just doing something with those files.

I tried updating my rom today (Harmonia 1 to latest 1.9 version) and had some trouble with my Link2sd after the flash. I figured the phone would look as it was, just updated, but it was wonky and I ended up needing to flash my backup.

I am FINALLY getting to the whole reason why I wanted to root in the first place: the ability to move some apps from the internal card to the external card. :D

Someone recommended Link2SD, so I installed it. Now it's saying I need to partition my SD card, and I'm not sure how to do that. Do I need to partition if I'm just moving and not linking, or can I not move without linking?

Hi guys. Using Link2SD.

What's the difference between 'move to SD card' and 'create link'?

My internal storage seems to be the same either way!!

Also, if I have only one launcher, should it remain in internal storage?

I am using link2sd and data2sd, but I think both are doing almost same, do I only need to use any one of these? I read many posts but frankly I didn't understand what's the difference, help guys.

partitioned my sd card.... 22 weeks 6 days ago

ok so i had gotten tired of downloading updates for apps and being told there was insufficient storage available. so i downloaded link2sd to solve the problem. i rebooted my phone into my recovery which is clockworkmod so that i could create a new partition on my sd card for link2sd. after i created the new partition i noticed all my pics music etc etc is gone.

I am currently running CM10a2.999999999 by DKZ on my Droid X2 and Link2SD (auto link enabled). I have been attempting to run several applications (JetSetRadio and Sword and Sworcery) but both games hang on launch. I have placed the folders that contain the stored .obb files I had prior to flashing to CM10 in /storage/sdcard1/android/obb/.
