Support kies stuck on downloading firmware upgrade

http://androidforums.com – Hey. I have an International version of Galaxy S3, which I purchased in the US a while back. Today i received a message on kies that they finally released a firmware upgrade for my device, and so I started the upgrade process. The problem is that the "Downloading firmware upgrade components" window seems be be stuck on 0% and doing absolutely nothing (the longest I waited was about 45 mins). I tried restarting kies and starting it as an administrator.. every time I try, I get the same result. any ideas? (General)

Hello,

When i installed Kies and connected my Galaxy Tab GT-P1000, it suggested me firmware upgrade to Ver 12.09.14.03. on my tab screeen it says Downloading "Do Not turn off target" but the percentage in kies is 0% from past 1 hour. Please help me how to escape from this firmware upgrade. Can i unplug the cable? or turn off either PC or TAB?

Earlier I was trying to upgrade the firmware via Kies and something went wrong. My Note is now stuck with a " Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again". But when you try to connect to Kies via usb then nothing happens and is unable to connect.

What are my alternatives to get my phone working again?

I have been trying to update to JellyBean all day long with Kies. I repeatedly get to a third "Firmware upgrade progress" screen and then it gets stuck at 0% on my computer and my phone says "Downloading... Do not turn off target!!" This is probably the 4th time I have tried it with the same results.

Connect to my phone (Galaxy SII) - Kies notifies new firmware is available Firmware upgrade to ICS 4.0.3 worked like a charm..... installed firmware: PDA:LPG / PHONE:LPG / CSC:LPG (TGY) But that upgrade apparently did something bad to Kies.

As per usual I started my daily backup - Kies prepares backup - and suddenly this message pops up on the phone unfortunately, wssyncmlnps has stopped

Hello.I flashed a firmware using odin because I was having wifi problems(I'm not having this problem anymore).Some days later I realized that I couldn't upgrade my S2 via kies.When my device is connected to kies I see a message "Your device does not support software upgrading via kies".

How can I solve this problem.I would like to upgrade to official Jelly Bean when it comes out.

I had a galaxy Apollo of 2 years. Today, I tried to update its firmware through KIES. After couple of minutes of downloading relevant files later, KIES hung. I woke up to find 98% downloading completed on my phone and KIES showing an error.

I touched the phone and it was too hot.

My phone is unrooted (and with the original ROM). I bought Note 2 on 29-1-13 4 days ago, i got ota mb2 update..

Hi, Everytime i connect my SGA to my pc (with kies running), it tells me that a newer version of firmware is available and prompts me to download it. then i choose to download and install the firmware, it then proceeds to download the firmware. but as soon as the firmware download is complete, kies disconnects with the phone and re-connects without installing the upgrade.

So i went to root my s2 and we had a power cut as it was in the download mode and when i went to turn it back on it said Stuck in firmware upgrade enconterd please select recovery mode in kies..

so i tried that but it will not connect to kies

This is a UK Phone on orange is there any way i can flash it back to stock orange firmware
