http://androidforums.com – Hello guys, I just bought the Samsung Galaxy Ace, and I've been having a problem almost from the get go. The issue is that every third or fourth incoming/ougoing call is automatically dropped by the phone, with the message "hanging up". If I try to call someone, I'll get a screech noise (like when you call into an analog modem), and then the phone will hang up (I will see the message "hanging up"). And its the same issue when I try to receive certain calls. This happens on every third or fourth call. Here are technical specs: Model number: GT-S5830i Android Version (General)

I just upgraded my phone from GB to ICS 4.0.4. I was running Juggernaut ROM before, but I did a backup and factory reset in CWM recovery before installing 4.0.4.

Everything seems to be working well except for outgoing calls in Google Voice. I have my GV set to "Use for all calls." When I make a call, it shows the GV routing number, instead of the number I dialed.

My phone won't allow any outgoing or incoming calls calls. I have full coverage and when I dial it straight away goes "Call Ended" Then when someone tries to call me they get a call rejected.

It can send and receive texts fine.

I recently rooted the phone to unlock it, then unrooted. The problems began then.

I want to develop an android application which allow to me to track and save into an online database the following information:

Hi all,

I'm having a problem receiving incoming calls over my car (Chevy Cruze) bluetooth connection. I'm on 4.04 (I can never keep track of the name, numbers are easier for me to keep track of). Anyway, the connection worked fine with my old Vibrant. With my new SGS2 when I get a call & press the "connect" button on the steering wheel, it disconnects the call.

I have a new S3, SCH-I535 with Android 4.0.4

When I am on a call, if I receive a 2nd call and answer. After I am done with the 2nd call, I tried to end that call keeping the first call open but amazingly it ended both the calls.

After that I've tried to this in different ways.

When I get in my 2010 GMC Sierra my phone automatically connects and then tries to call my phone number. Almost as if it is like it is an incoming call from my phone number like my phone has called the truck. I can hit the end call button on the truck but I am not sure why my phone is randomly wanted to talk to me though the truck. Can anyone please help?

I have annoying problem.

I use GO Dialer and GO Contacts EX. Call receiving screen looks like stock.

I had a call from friend, he wasn't saved in contacts yet. When he was calling and i went to pick the call i think i pressed something because question popup saying something like "Do you want to block something?

Dear Androids, I have some small annoying issues to report all realated to the mail gsm functionality: make/receive call !!

Issue N°1) When I make a simple gsm to gsm call the first 1 or 2 seconds of conversation is on mute. Both the ends does not hear anything :confused:

Issue N°2) [does not happen often] On incoming call screen froze -> impossible to answer or to hang up.

I use Google Voice for all outgoing calls. When making a call, I sometimes get a single ring followed by a recorded message telling me that the feature I'm trying to use is not recognized or is unavailable. When this happens, repeated call attempts result in the same message.
