Support I9100t overheating and cannot update

http://androidforums.com – Hi, I have bought an s2 I9100t in Australia and ever since I've had it whenever I try and charge the battery it says 'charging paused battery either too hot or too cold.' after just a few seconds. Even when im not charging the phone it heats up alot on the side with the power button, and obviously gets worse when plugged in. The battery runs down very quickly aswel and the only way I can charge it is to put the battery into another phone. I have already replaced the charging port as of yesterday and it is still having the same problems. I've been trying to factory reset the phone (General)

hey guys im having a hard time and im about 2 seconds away from throwing my phone off the 3rd deck. i got my phone back in july 2011 so its a little more than a year old. im using an extended oem (htc) battery and it wont charge for ****. idk if its my battery, charging/usb connector port but LITERALLY my phone was at 8%. i ran TiBac then plugged my phone in to charge and went to smoke a cig.

Hi, lately my battery is giving me a hard time charging. Sometimes when I plug it in when the phone is on it will say something like charging timed out, battery is to hot or to cold. Then sometimes when the phone is off and I try to charge it it will say battery disconnected and vibrate til you unplug it. I've had this Samsung Intrecept for about 2 yrs now.

My phone died on me yesterday since I forgot to charge it the day before, it was dead in my pocket for 3 hours until I got home.

Without bothering to do anything, I simply plugged my dead phone into the charger and went to bed.

Hi all,

So I went to charge my Dinc2; the orange charger light popped on, but when I looked at the battery widget, I noticed that the battery was not charging.

I walked away from the phone for a little bit, turned the phone back on, and received this message,

"Battery Is low. The charging current is not enough for device power consumption.

Don't know what happens last night but now Battery is not charging not even through charger or USB cable, plus Windows is unable to recognise the device when USB is connected. It is showing 100 percent battery all the time(using GO Power Master) plus it shows common charging at regular intervals even when nothing is connected to phone. The only way to charge the phone is to charge it offline.

I recently rooted and flashed the Jellybean 4.2.2 rom and I absolutely love it, except on one phone the battery isn't charging at all and on the other phone the battery takes more then 8 hours to fully charge from 25%. I read that other people having slow charging issues and I haven't found a solution so if anyone knows of one that would be great.

First off, I should let you know that it was in the charging loop, where when plugged in even with the battery out, it would boot to the phone off battery charging screen. I got it to boot to Android Gingerbread 2.3.6, (standard Boost version), but would not recognise charging with plugged into the wall.

If i charge the battery when the phone is on it charges quickly like 5% to 100% in about 45 mins ...this quickly charged battery drains in just half a day. Now if i charge the battery when the phone is off it takes regular time to charge fully and lasts 2 days!! Its not convinient to turn off the phone and charge!! help???

Hey i was charging my S3 with the stock official charger that came with the phone, i had put it on charge and the battery % was 26% i got up about 8 hours later and the battery had dropped from 26 to 14% while it was plugged into the charger and not being used. I am currently running Omega JB rom. I can not seem to figure out the issue any help would be appreciated.
