All right, ANY help would be great. I searched all the forums, found some stuff but nothing useful. I messed up my phone by doing a factory data reset on a rooted phone (lg optimus v) and got stuck in a clockwork recovery bootloop. I fixed this with the xperia.zip file. NOW I'm stuck immediatly afterwards in the android boot.
I purchased a GS3 on Ebay and received a phone from China. When I initialize the phone the Android logo pops up followed by the Samsung logo. I think I might have a clone or fake. The phone sits on the Samsung logo for a minute and then turns off. I am unable to turn the phone back on unless I remove the battery and then it will become stuck again.

I unlocked my bootlocker, then flashed CW10, when it was successful, I rebooted my phone, but the phone stuck on htc logo. When I did a recovery the instructions told me to follow on wiping cache, factory reset, so I did and I lost the factory reset.
I originally rooted my phone and thought that a factory reset would erase everything I did and the clockworkmod app. Apparently, it didn't because when the Verizon update came in, it wouldn't update. So I held the power, home, and volume up button in hopes of clearing everything. That was dumb because I think I erased my os. Now it doesn't get past the Samsung logo screen.
A friend of mines phone was stuck on the HTC screen every time she tried to reboot her phone. So we powered it down and brought it back up with the volume button down+power and did a factory reset. The phone came up with the normal screen "verizon loading blah blah" and once that finished and it rebooted it never came back up. Now it doesn't respond to any sort of reboot attempts.
I had CM10 on my phone, and today I tried flashing back to stock and now am stuck on the Samsung logo on boot.
Here's the process I've followed:
Wipe/Factory reset using CWM
Deleted everything on internal SD card
Downloaded T999UVALEM_T999TMBALEM_T999UVALEM_HOME.tar.md5
Flashed using Odin
Odin said successful, but on reboot it never gets passed the Samsung logo
I tried flashing again, but th
First lets understand what a factory reset does. It removes all USER DATA and restores the phone back to factory settings providing that the phone is not rooted. User data is defined as apps, call logs, contacts, and anything else the user has placed in the phones memory. Stuff that is on the SDCARD is not affected by a factory reset.
