http://androidforums.com – Hi, I am new to this community and don't know much about technology. I am having problem with my HTC ONE X PLUS. The phone was working really fine until yesterday. My phone is not searching the wifi connections. I tried really hard by switching the phone wifi on and off and even restarting the phone number of times. But these things didn't help. Please help me to sort this issue out. Thanks P.S. My laptop, ipad and even iphone are searching and connected to wifi but not my HTC ONE X PLUS :-(. (General)

i just sign up here coz my s2 wont connect to wifi..sure my wifi router has no problem coz i can connect my laptop to it..just woke up with no wifi on phone tried to connect its says its connected but no connection signal on the upper level screen..tried restarting it and turn my phone on and off many times..it connected and after 10 minutes its gone again..and i am getting so annoyed with it..

I have a Philips W626 (an unusual brand/model I know) and have recently got a problem with the wifi on this phone. It was working fine before.

The phone is rooted.

The wifi is on according to the phone, it displays available connections but won't connect.

I have had my phone about a year now and I had it rooted, S-OFFed and running a custom ROM within an hour of getting it. It took me a while to notice since I never use WiFi but I have had several ROMs such as CM, ViperS, HyperMIUI, Elegancia and the only issue I have had is that no matter what I could never get WiFi to work for more than an hour.

Okay. I need a free app to turn my phone into a wifi hotspot. Sounds easy?? My Vibrant is running Android 2.1 so I don't have Google play, and my phone doesn't actually work through a company. I just use it on a wifi signal. My phone reaches the community wifi but my laptop doesn't! :/

Wondering if anyone has had this problem and been able to fix it.

In the place where I'm staying I have WiFi with wireless router. When I first got here my photon was finding the signal just fine, no problems.

I have flashed my LG optimus 2X to CM10 and my wifi is not working. It does not detect any wifi signals from router. I have fully wiped my phone before installing CM10. I have tried to install many times after wiping it but still there is no wifi. It works totally fine in CM7.2 but does not work on CM9 and CM10. Can you please help me to solve this problem?

I'm so frustrated not sure what to do about it anymore. If I let me phone site idle anywhere from 10 minutes to 1+ hour. I will wake the phone it will show wifi is connected but there is no connectivity. No matter what app I go into, browser, slacker radio, play store etc. Nothing will load cause it can't connect. I have to toggle wifi widget off & back on before it will work again.

Hi all, My non-rooted Nexus S has been running smooth on Samsung 4.1.1 update from last 2 months or so. While one of the apps was being updated and installed, I switched off Wifi on the phone. Since then, the app was under "installation progress" for a few hours. I thought of switching on WiFi and since then, the phone is auto-rebooting continually if WiFi remains on.

My wifi keeps dropping since last night, have the phone almost 2 years, never any wifi issues, restarted router, restarted phone, unchecked and checked use maximum wifi, all other phones and laptop working fine on wifi.. when I have the phone beside the router it has full signal, as soon as i step away it starts dropping until its gone..
