My EVO got stuck in endless loop of reboot... Power goes off and normal booting starts up and lasts fro about 25 sec past Sprint flying yellow screens... than it powers off again.
Any options to recover from boot menu ( short of Factory reset) didn't work.
Now... the PROBLEM is that I have really valuable for me data , texts and images trapped now in the onboard memory chip ...
Ok... so I'm stuck and I've been googling and playing with this thing for about 4 hours now.. I'm stuck.
Basically I got S-OFF, installed the stable cyanogen release and got it up and running. I was having a few issues and just decided to go back to my stock installation. I downloaded the RUU package and flashed the ROM onto my phone.
Hello
I've tried to upgrade my Defy (525, green lens) to CM10(jelly bean), but im stuck in a boot loop!
My phone had originally Android 2.1 installed, one year ago i successfully rooted it and Android 2.2 successfully.
What i've tried:
- load into 2nd init, wipe cache/wipe data
- install kernel-froyo-222-179-4-signed
- install CM10-20120924-NIGHTLY-mb525
- wipe dalvik cache(this does
Hello, I have the VM HTC EVO V 3D. I installed 4EXT and tried to install a couple roms to test. They all failed and were stuck in the boot animation.
I was able to recover into my Harmonia rom initially then i tried to flash another rom which did not work. After that i was unable to recover back to harmonia.
I am very new to the whole rooting and roms for android phones. I dont know much terminology such as kernels..etc. so you would have to explain things very carefully for me haha.
Recently I rooted my evo 3d phone.
Hi all,
I've tried searching the forums but unfortunately my search did not turn up anything that specifically addressed how to tackle my problem. I'm generally quite bad with computers/phones/etc., and unfortunately my first attempt at rooting my phone didn't work out. My husband isn't good with phones either.
OK so I thought I had installed TWRP......In GooManager I clicked reset/recover so I could get to the backup menu and I am stuck on Android System recovery on my S3 for Sprint. My options are.
1. Reboot system now. (Power button doesn't allow me to do anything with this option.)
2. Apply update from ADB.
3. Apply update from external settings.
4. wipe data/factory reset.
I recently did a hard reset on my HTC Incredible 2, now its stuck in a boot loop, I also can not access Hboot by holding the power button and down volume on boot.
Do I have any options? Is there anyway to reinstall the factory rom or can I root the phone to fix this? The phone is completely factory now it's never been rooted.
Thanks for any help!
Chris
Hi,
My s3 is stuck in a boot loop. I'm running cm10. I can get back to download mode and use Odin, so I think I can flash back to stock, but is there anyway to recover my data? I can't think of a way to get data off the internal sd card without wiping everything via Odin.
Thanks.
