I would like to know a software which will help me underclocking my CPU and GPU. I find it meaningless to run my rig at full when doing very light works. I would like it to have a default option to change back the values to default clock rates on the fly when I need it.
My system spec is in my signature.
How do i back up my contacts? I was thinking about getting a Galaxy Note 3 and the thing i hate about Android is that they don't have proprietary PC software to help with transferring data when getting a new Android device like Blackberry of iPhones do.
Anyone know how i can back up my contacts? I added new ones since getting my Note 2, so not sure if they will port over to Note 3.
I am pretty sure I am going to take the leap of faith and root/rom my note 2. The benefits seem obvious, but I need a contingency plan. It seems as though cleanROM might be the most attractive option for me. I would like to lose all the att branded crap on my phone, but possibly keep all the Samsung stuff. It would suck having the s-pen and no software to support it right?
Here's just a few words on how an operating system should work, vs. a software system that is broken.GNU/Linux - All software that is installed from the package manager is updated as soon as the updates are available, and via one single non-intrusive interface. There's no waiting for security patches or feature additions in the GNU/Linux system.
I am new user of Ubuntu OS. I had installed Ubuntu 12.04. Unfortunately 'System Settings' option got disappeared. If I click on the 'System Settings' at the right corner (above) of the desktop, it does not open. That's why I installed 'system settings' from the ubuntu software center. But it's KDE based. Also the screen shot is completely different from the default 'system settings'.
I have had a Galaxy Note 2 for one year (with NO issues) with AT&T. I did an AT&T software update (Android version 4.3) yesterday. Now the personal notifications I had set for different contacts will not work no matter what I do. The only ringtone that works is a downloaded one but only if set as the default.
