Hello, so I do know that there alot of other threads which talks about my issue but honestly I could'nt find what i was looking for,
I recently rooted my phone and as I was messing around with it, I wanted to delete some preinstalled apps to make my phone's memory free up some space, but then stupidly I let my little cousin play with my phone.
Hi all,
I just picked up a new microSD card for my Samsung Galaxy Note (international version), and after I put it into the phone, it seems that some of my apps are 'missing' and their icons have been greyed-out. I understand this means that the apps were installed onto the original SD card, but I'd like to know how to swap them back over to the phone.
Here's the story.
Rooted Stock RAZR.
Changed Build Prop to Galaxy Nexus and google.
Overwrote system files with the huge GAPPS 4.2 pack, excepting the apps folder.
I have finally rooted my phone and am using Link2SD to get rid of all the preinstalled apps that i dont want and it works great... but now there are a couple apps with names that make no sense to me and id like to rename them to something that makes more sense... is there anyway to rename apps on your phone? i have it rooted with Gingerbreak 1.20 and have version 2.2.2 of the Android system...
Phone is freezing up. Don't know why. Help please. Can hardly even make this post. Keep getting apps not responding messages. Download speeds are ranging from 8kbps 2 40kbps. Tried deleting throttle files (data/system/throttle) helped a little. Carrier says everything OK on their end. Signal strength poor here but last week was seeing 350+kbps same area and w/one bar.
I have no idea what happened, but I looked down at my phone at some point today and noticed that most of the apps on my home screen where just he Android icon. I go to my app folder and it lists most apps in gray and says SD Card next to them.
I am having problems with my Incredible. I cant permanently delete any apps from it. I uninstall them from the phone Settings Menu, but when I restart the phone, the apps are back. I have deleted them from my Market account, but they still reappear on the phone. I have done a factory reset from H Boot, but they still come back.
Hi,
Im having some huge problems with performance on my phone.
Earlier I was on stock, now I am on x3reme sense
Usually when I go to Apps, and I see space available for apps it shows me around 400mb
When the Phone is really lagging and unresponsive, the space it shows me is around 90mb. I am really confused as to what is eating that space sometimes?
Hey folks,
The micro usb port on my phone has gotten loose over the last few days, and so T-mo is sending me out a replacement phone. I would like to completely backup my phone (ideally to my dropbox folder) so I can easily restore all of my apps and settings on the new vibrant when it comes. I already have Astro, and have backed up my apps to my SD card.
