The other day I did a hard reset. All is back to normal with the exception of one thing. I no longer have a search history on the phone. When I click the search bar at the top of the home screen, none of my past searches are there. When I go into the search settings, the "clear on-device search history" is greyed out.
Yesterday Google released an update to the Google Maps for Android app to make it more useful. Perhaps the biggest change involves syncing between mobile devices and the desktop browser version of Google Maps. When signed in to Google Maps with web history enabled, you will get search and directions history synced to your mobile device.
On my Samsung Nexus, I am running version 4.1.1. When I go into Google Maps and at the top click on Search Maps, it has a history of all the places I have searched. How do I clear this list?
I have tried going Settings, Apps, Google Maps and Clear Data. Then went back to Google Maps and its still there.

Is there any way to see your voice search history (not regular search history)?
I noticed that it does not show up in the auto suggest search. For example, if you do a voice search, then try to type that same term into the search box, you won't get any results automatically suggested to you.
Any idea how to see past voice searches?
