Updated to 4.1.2 last Friday. Everything seemed fine. I get home from work today and I can't pinch to zoom in anything but my photos. Every app and all browser windows will not let me pinch to zoom anymore. I can double tap to increase zoom, but that's it. What the hell happened since yesterday?
Google’s Gmail for Android app has seemingly reached the next step in its inevitable evolution. Our friends at Android Police report the upcoming Gmail version 4.2 will achieve some much-needed features, with the long awaited pinch-to-zoom making its first appearance in the app.
I have started to use chrome as my main browser because it's faster than the stock one anyway it has 2 annoying bug, one is that you can't have the opton "show desktop site" permanently activated ( but there is an app to fix that ) the other problem is that when you pinch to zoom ( multi-touch ) a page, the text doesn't get properly rendered and I need to tap 2 times in order
On my Galaxy Nexus, I used to be able to pinch to zoom or even double tap to zoom and the text/words would resize to larger to "fit the screen". I can't find that setting to make my S4 do this :( Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
Thinking of purchasing one and I've been following all the issues with the phone. But nobody seems to be discussing one of the first problems with it, the pinch-to-zoom response. I remember reading that someone was able to replace the touch sensor driver with an older version and made it much better. Do you still have to do that or did Google fix it with an update?
Does anybody knows why pinch to zoom does not work on Samsung S3 phone? I tried to restore it to the factory settings and it works straight after, but them it stops after few hours?
I tried to change different settings, but nothing helps.
