I live in a remote area where I get a lot of dropped calls.
I have Moto X set to Global which is by default.
Is there any difference between changing to CDMA.
Any experienced out there

Is there any way to set the network mode to CDMA instead of both CDMA and LTE without root? I live in an area that has horrible 4G service, and great 3G service, but 4G is just strong enough that my phone wants to stay on LTE. Previously, on my Note 2 that was rooted, I'd just use an app, but that's not an option yet.
when i go to turn off 4G i get a popup that ask LTE/CDMA and CDMA.
i choose CDMA which in turn pops up another window with
my question is
which do i choose?
what is the difference between them?
Has anybody had a problem with people hearing you when making or receiving a call while your Wi-Fi is connected to the internet??? It seems when I go into my settings and shut it off. They tell me it sounds better.
This has just begun two days ago. I have never ever had a connection problem with any of my Moto phones. My son and I both have a Maxx. Both stock phones on ICS. Tuesday his went into no service mode and had a popup that said no CDMA/LTE networks available and wanted him to switch to global. Yesterday I had the same no service issue and the same popup.
I am looking for dual sim & dual standby gsm + cdma android smartphone.
My criteria would be:affordable price (reasonable)
Like i said above, both gsm & cdma active at the same time
I dont care about the brand name and the origin as long as its genuine brand
at least Jelly bean
at least dual core
would be great if its at least standard such as 3g in GSM (I dunno the equivale
