So I'm still figuring out the HTC One, coming from an iPhone. I want to just drag and drop photos from my phone onto my computer (Mac). I've connected via USB and used both HTC Sync Manager and Android File Transfer, but I cannot find where the photos live. When I go into the Pictures folder in File Transfer, all I see are screen captures.
Hi,
I'm new here and looking for help please.
I mounted my phone on the pc to save my pictures and all of a sudden everything disappeared from my phone. I've always done this and never had any problems. I also lost my music. I took the battery and sd card out and I did this a few times until I actually got my music back. But still no photos or video.
Hey guys, I just got this phone yesterday and I've been trying it out. Usually, I rely heavily on bluetooth to transfer data from the phone to my computer (mostly pictures and audio files) and the other way around. So far, transferring pictures to my computer went by perfectly, I had no problems pairing the devices and all that.
Originally I had an Xperia X10(Android). It died but I kept the 16gb memory card and put it in the Nokia E5(Symbian) my provider used as a replacement.
I now have a Galaxy Note.
I've been using My Phone Explorer to transfer files from phone to computer. I've recently noticed that my memory card has 2 main folders: Memory Card and External Storage.
Now...
HELP! I purchased Sprint HTC One yesterday and traded in my EVO 3D on the spot so can't transfer photos, music, etc from old phone via the ONLY method/option made public. I have the SD card from the 3D but can't figure out how to transfer those files from the folder on my iMac to the HTC One.
Does any one know of a s/w which can transfer data from a Nokia E63 to an Android Phone (make/model undecided yet but I am leaning towards a S2). I know how to transfer contacts & appointments but I am stuck wrt sms's. I would have normally use Outlook & MyPhoneExplorer to transfer data but for sms I am stuck.
Okay, so I rooted my at&t E970 using this method: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1941699 . I mainly did the root because I wanted to transfer some of my apps to my SD card. I download App2sd and another transfer program and they both have difficulty finding my SD card in some way. How can I fix this?
What is actually stored on the SIM card (the white memory card which fits inside the phone underneath the battery).
My understanding is it includes your contacts, but what other information is there?
Also, what does it take to get the information off of the SIM card and transfer it to another phone (not necessarily Samsung or MetroPCS)?
