Once after charging when I took the phone, baseband was dead. I tried factory reset, nothing helped. The baseband stopped working on a virgin phone (except OTA updates). So I tried flashing factory images just to try my luck.

I have a samsung galaxy SII that has lost all network connection (wifi works though). It's just a check of the pillars and cant either call or text. When you go in and check Baseband it says unknown.

I was flashing roms using odin, unfortunately I didnt back up my data but thats not the issue. After flashing im unable to use my cell service. When I try to connect to a mobile network it keeps on searching but comes with no results. In the settings menu im getting baseband version unknown. Please help me ive tried to flash modems.bin still with no success. My note 2 is i317m. Thanks

So my friend flashed CM9 over his CM10 build on accident and told me to fix his phone. I got the phone booted just fine but now it says unknown baseband and doesn't have a data connection (duh). I tried looking around but I didnt see a modem I could flash. Can someone link me? Or is there a better way of fixing it?

Is there any solution to the unknown baseband and blank IMEI problem?,...I've tried some suggested method on xda but the problem still persists...pls help!

So I was having a problem getting a GPS lock with my epic and I read that people were having success with the F05 baseband (I was on FH29 baseband), so I downloaded it and flashed it via CWM and it said that the flash was successful. I rebooted and I have no service, says unknown baseband in phone info, and restoring to a prior nandroid, and / or reflashing didn't help. Any ideas?

Hey guys I am going to try and make this quick and please forgive me I am new to the Nexus. I have been all over this forum and others. I have gotten a lot of different info. about how to switch my Verizon Nexus to Prepaid. However I just bought this phone at my bosses pawn shop w/out the SIM card and the guy who sold the phone said it did have service @ one time.

I've got a friend who got a new Captivate from the US. And he flashed CM10 right after getting it, without making a backup of the efs folder. Now, the efs partition is completely empty, and of course it says "Unknown baseband, unknown imei", etc".

I've looked around, but all the imei restore methods seem to require at least one efs file. However in this case we have none.

Hello everyone, I've got a big problem... I have been using my SGSIII with CM10 and siyah kernel, and everything was fine. however, 2 days ago my phone froze and i had to pull the battery. after restarting i wasnt able to get a connection... i tried reflashing, rebooting, resetting and everything, but nothing worked.
