Support Deleting Text Thread

http://androidforums.com – Hummmmm, I looked over related issue but not sure of the answers. Here is what the book says on page 95: To delete a message thread from the Messaging window 1. Touch and hold the message thread. 2. Touch Delete thread in the Context menu that opens. 3. Touch Delete to confirm you want to delete the message thread. I can only seem to delete only ONE conversation with a thread that has 10 in it. I have to delete them one at a time to get the whole thread gone. What am I doing wrong? Hi Guys,

I've had my Samsung Galaxy S3 for approx 6 months now, and it has become laggy throughout the Text message app.

I've been looking around elsewhere, and I've (now) set my limit to 500 messages per thread, however I have threads which I haven't cleared since I started, and some people I send upto 20-30 messages a day, everyday, so you can imagine how many messages I have in some threa

My girlfriend is having an issue where she has a text message thread of over 6000 text messages, but she just tried deleting the thread and it froze her messaging app and proceeded to crash it. Whenever she tries to do that the same thing happens. She's completely stock and she tried installing Handcent and GoSMS to delete but still no go. She's tried clearing data and cache also but no luck.

I was going through some old text messages one day and decided to delete the whole thread (1000 plus msgs). While in the middle of looking at the old messages, I deleted the thread without going back to the most recent message. Now every time I text this person and get a reply, my reply box is pre-populated with the last old/deleted text that I had last looked at/deleted.

I recently tried to add text notifications to my Facebook account for privacy reasons, and now on my GS3 I'm unable to delete the text thread from Facebook. (A text conversation to 32665) Whenever I delete it, it just shows back up right away at the bottom. I've marked the number as spam, reset my phone and killed the messaging app and nothing works.

Any help?

Hi, Can anyone tell me how can I delete a message conversation, I can delete an individual message but in the message tab the person is still on the list. I need to delete everything by any means without deleting the contact. Maybe with another app? I tried to search the path of the viber but no luck so far. Many thanks

If I started a thread then realized I was asking with wrong question how do I delete the thread?
