Can someone upload the default backup.apk app that comes with the LG Motion? I flashed bobz cm rom but used the default backup app to backup, not knowing that I wouldn't have the app after (derp).
In our WHM we have our backup set to push to an FTP destination, and we unchecked the option to retain in the default backup directory. Everything was running fine until last Friday, now the backups are not being deleted from the backup directory. We have to manually go in with SSH and remove the files.
I just recently Odined from MI7 to NB4 to flash the new Jedi update. I backed up everything in Titanium Backup, and then used Call Log Backup and SMS Backup & Restore to back up my texts. Since the KitKat updates, in order to restore SMS backups, the app doing the restoration needs to be set as the default messaging app (temporarily).
I'm trying to use Deja Dup (the default backup software) to backup some of my data. It seems to work, and the interface is simple and easy to use.
However, the backup speed seems ludicrously slow. Is there a way to improve this? htop shows that only one of my processors appears to be working (though they alternate, one will peg to 85-95%, and then the other will) on the backup.
I backed up all system apps and info with Titanium Backup. Made sure that the apps I was uninstalling were backed up. Then uninstalled the default messaging app because I use chompsms. Turns out chomp as well as handcent use part of the default messaging app. No big deal, go back into TB and restore it. But its not there.
I was set backup in "WHM Home » Backup » Backup Configuration"
Backup Daily - Tuesday and Friday.
Retain Daily backups. ( I don't know what is it, but I want auto deleting daily backup older more then 3 months)
In my backup folder I only have 5 folders with 3-5 backup archives.
I repeat 3-5 backup archives! I want backup ALL ACCOUNTS on server.
I have a quick question about the "BackUp" application that comes with Ubuntu 12.04.
I managed to set up my computer the way I like it. Now, I'd like to create a backup of my file system partition. I've research a few backup options (such as fsarchiver, partimage), but if I'm not mistaken, in order to be able to use fsarchiver I have to run it from a live cd.
