Is there a way to have the old way of using Google search and leave Google now as the long press of home? I love Google now but when I just want to do a search I don't need all the cards loading and making things slow at times when I simply just want to type out a search. I hope there is a way to accomplish this because its very annoying.

Bare with me, I just got my Nexus 4 and it is my first smart phone. While trying to remove the youtube app on the home screen, I somehow got it stuck to the gray google search bar at the top of the screen. I tried disabling the app, disabling the search bar, swiping the app, holding down on the app, I can't seem to get it unstuck from the search bar and it's driving me nuts.
I'm sorry if this has already been asked. I've used google and the forum search to the best of my abilities, I've read through threads but I don't have time to read through a few thousand pages for the ROM.

Many times we have tried searching for pdf/chm books online and using our ordinary search queries, rarely give any results fast. But with a simple geeky search you can find what you want in first page of Google Search Result.
I am just giving the method and you can try and verify it yourself.
In the first case I am using just the Book Name as the search query in google.
:confused:Anyone who uses WhatsApp Messenger or whoever encounters issue like this:
I search it on Google Play but it's not listed in the search results. Searching its package name also does not work.
The Android version of my phone does support the app.
Is it because of the app or Google Play?
And it also happens whenever I search Astro File Manager on Google Play.
Google first announced its plans to bring enhanced voice search to iOS back in August, and now the company has finally made good on its word.
