Just got this router for Christmas. When I try and load the GUI to manage it the UI takes forever to load. Just by typing in the router address and entering the credentials it took 27 minutes for the main page to load. Even then it did not load everything due to timeouts.
When I click on a link in the UI it takes just as long to load that section.
I just randomly started experiencing issues with startup and shutdown. That segued into not being able to load pictures from my gallery (both ones installed on my sd card and internal storage) without waiting approximately 2-3 minutes simply for one to load up. I also noticed that a few apps installed on my sd weren't showing up on startup initially.
I updated my S3 with a firmware update on Christmas Day. Ever since then accessing my photo galleries is nigh on impossible: they seem to take forever to load (if they do at all). I tried to stop it synching with Facebook albums but it even takes forever to load when I am not connected to the internet. Is anyone else having any problems...?
My wifi seems to be very slow on Fedora 17 64-bit (Ubuntu as well). I have a 512kbps connection (which is already quite slow) but it takes forever for webpages to load. In many cases it isn't able to open websites at all. Chrome, for example, says Resolving Host and then gives up.
I use a wifi dongle and it seems to work out of the box. It's a DLink DWA-125 which uses the Ralink RT3070 chip.
I have used my own installs of phpMyAdmin for years, and only within the last year or so have I begun to experience performance problems. Logging into phpMyAdmin takes a very long time (1-2 minutes) and navigating to tables, doing searches, etc. all takes a very long time to respond (1+ minutes just for the search page, etc.
The Play Store is randomly loading slow on wifi, the pictures and apps are all loading slow on the store. Download speeds are fine throughout all apps (including Store) so I'm stumped. I've cleared the cache for the store and it seemed to work for the initial load. Anyone have any ideas with this? 4G makes it load at normal speeds too.
