Support Connecting Tablet to our TV

http://androidforums.com – I've bought several types of HDMI cables, the dock, and an adapter to connect the tablet to the HDMI port/jack on our TV. So far nothing has worked. I just got today another cable with a HDMI on one end and a mini on the other end that I hope when I plug it into the dock that it will work. I was hoping to just run a cable from the tv to the tablet and not have to use anything in between. Any suggestions? (General)

Hey guys I bought the atrix 4g lap dock a few months ago and I tried the lap dock as a monitor trick with the micro HDMI to HDMI and the HDMI port got bent! I tried pushing it in with no luck. Now the HDMI port is sticking out and it doesn't work. I've tried motorola but they said it would cost 150 to fix. I got it for free.

I have a tablet with ubuntu 11.10 and I want to connect it to my TV. My tablet has a miniHDMI port, I have connected to my TV with a miniHDMI-HDMI cable, and what now? I feel a little silly but I don't know what to do. Can somebody help me? Thanks.

I have my Netbook, with #!Waldorf, connected to the TV via HDMI cable.Besides, using the HDMI cable, I needed to connect 2 seperate audio-jack cables to get stereo sound.

I hope someone can help! I bought a brand new computer (Intel® Pentium(R) CPU G2120 @ 3.10GHz × 2 with Intel® Ivybridge Desktop graphics), running Ubuntu 12.10. The graphics card has both VGA and HDMI output. My problem is that I cannot connect to my Dell monitor with only the HDMI cable. The HDMI cable goes through 'n DVI adapter into the Dell monitor.

I've been using my Zenbook's HDMI port for watching movies on my TV a bit. Everything worked fine, until I wanted to turn off my screen whenever the HDMI cable was plugged in.

I did this in the settings under Screens menu.

Now that Ill have a S3, Just was wondering, I saw the adapter I need for USB. But can this work with the HDMI at the same time? Would be neat at home to have my dock, using the hdmi adapter on it, then plug the usb otg to that.

I have sony xperia S , rooted , unlocked boot loader ...running the latest build of AOKP available which is now stable .

AOKP has an option to force tabet UI and change pixel density . now if you're going to change to tablet UI you have to change to default tablet pixel density of 160 .
