I tried to put a new rom on my wife phone.
It`s doesn`t working and I can`t go into clockwork recovery mode
I don`t know the version of the installed Clockwork recovery.
I tried to push back continually and just push and release and so on....
The only what I see is the Sony Ericsson logo...
The thing is, I wanted to install a custom ROM in my device and, following a guide, I first installed Clockwork mod v188.8.131.52 to install a kernel and then the ROM. But when I entered in recovery mode, seems like all options in Clockwork mod are useless. Wherever I press, all the options disappears and I can only see the Clockwork mod icon.
i have installed the clockwork mod recovery and the recovery it offered for the m865 from cricket. in the directions, it said to install the clockwork mod recovery for the cricket phone as they work the same. well unfortunatley it does not boot in into recovery which tells me that i have installed the wrong recovery.

I would like to install Clockwork Mod recovery on my Motorola Cliq running Android 2.1. Unfortunately, it seems that the app to install it is no longer available in Market, only in Google Play, but Play doesn't work in 2.1. I was able to download an image, but have no idea what to do with it. Can somebody walk me through the process? Sorry for the basic question but I'm rather new at this.
I am currently running rooted stock rom with HTC Dev unlocked bootloader with clockwork recovery. When I tried to download and install OTA it of course fails. I installed stock recovery, same thing installation always stucks at 1/3. I tried relocking bootloader, i tried un root.
I have a I9001 aka Galaxy S Plus and wanted to flash newer version. When tried to enter recovery mode it gives me a black screen with run dump mode written on it. Some search tells me that phone is soft bricked. Now, does anyone knows how to install clockwork recovery mode or any other recovery if clockwork is not possible.
So, basically, I've done a stupid thing, I attempted to install Cyanogen, forgetting to enable USB debugging, and it didn't go too well, all I can do now is use Clockwork Recovery as there is no ROM on the phone, I'm not sure if there's anyway I can enable USB debugging and flash it via USB, with Odin, but whenever I try to flash via .zip through Clockworkmod Recovery I either get the status 7 err
