Ok, so this problem just started happening out of nowhere. I got my galaxy s3 about 2 weeks ago, and up until now everything has been working fine. I was using Google chrome and all of a sudden it stopped loading and said it couldn't connect to the server. Well I started opening up some of my apps and none of them could connect to the server.
I have had my phone about a year now and I had it rooted, S-OFFed and running a custom ROM within an hour of getting it. It took me a while to notice since I never use WiFi but I have had several ROMs such as CM, ViperS, HyperMIUI, Elegancia and the only issue I have had is that no matter what I could never get WiFi to work for more than an hour.
I have a different WiFi issue that I have not seen in any other post. Verizon or Samsung have no idea how to fix. My phone's WiFi worked fine in the US until I took it to Jamaica. It would not find networks there. I also had a Samsung Tab 2 that picked up WiFi great, but my GS3 would just scan. After returning to the US, now it will only detect a few WiFi connections.
Okay, so here's my problem solving steps. Flash from cyanogen9 to this, everything works except wifi. Yes, I wiped the cache/dalvik cache. Okay, I figure I messed something up. I factory reset, then flash again. Still isn't working. Yes, I read the FAQ. Yes, I followed the steps there. I'm running the 10/2 rom.
I'm not an overly technical person.
I have a brand new Neo. I first connected to my home's WiFi without problems.
When I tried to connect to other WiFi networks, in many cases it fails by not
being able to get an IP address. It then tries continously and never fully connects.
When I went back home I can experience the same problem. I'm running 2.3.4
and the WiFi sleep policy is set to never (original setting).

When I connect to my home, school, girlfriend's Wifi it works fine! When I leave the connection with Wifi (just because I go to school of to a Bar..) and I'm going back to my home, school of girlfriend, Wifi is not connecting to the router.
Hi I have a small network issue with my chakra benz on my acer one.I use wifi all the time and it works fine.But if I am on battery and don't use the laptop for a while, chrome and firefox loose the internet connection.I then need to restart firefox and chrome to get it back.I think it may be due to the “energy saving” which may “pause” the wifi during inactivity, but of course, I am not sure
I installed chrUbuntu 12.4 on my Acer C7 Chromebook and it came with a chrome browser install. I upgrated to 12.10 and It seemed to be working fine until recently I cannot load the flash plug in. I downloaded Chromium and it works fine but it bothers me that I cannot use the original chrome install.
Hi I'm running 12.04 LTS on a Thinkpad Edge 13 (Intel). I installed using the certified image. I'm having trouble getting into my school's wifi. It worked fine on my phone (Nexus 4, Android 4.2 stock) but it never connects on my laptop.
