I just bought a Bluetooth device to use with my s3 while driving. It's not working how I thought it would, so I was wondering what it should be doing and what settings can be changed.
1. I have my phone plugged into an aux port. When I get a phone call, the call audio goes through the car speakers instead of the Bluetooth speakers.
I turned on the bluetooth of my Xperia Ray today and the phone instantly went to reboot screen, and then it continuously rebooted. Only once the phone started properly but it showed that the bluetooth is turning on. I couldn't turn it off nor on since it was in the process of turning on. I just ignored this bluetooth issue and used the phone normally.
I just got a Samsung Galaxy S4 three days ago. I paired it with my car's Bluetooth radio/phone. The phone part is working fine, but the problem is with the media. Whenever I get a notification on my phone or if I lock or unlock the screen while it is connected to the Bluetooth in the car, it automatically changes the radio to play the media on the phone. This is really annoying.
Whenever a number comes up in an app - I use TomTom, Yelp, YellowPages, Google Nav etc and I click on it - it pops up a window asking me to add a new contact. That should go to click to call and call my phone - well I can't get that to work.
Wife has a Verizon Samsung Charge phone that is linked to a Kenwood bluetooth system in our vehicle. She uses the bluetooth connection a lot to listen to Pandora on the phone while driving. However, when an incoming call comes in, it auto answers and immediately takes the call instead of letting her decide to pick it up or not.
I just picked up the note 2 after a long history with HTC phones. With the HTC phones once I paired my vehicle's radio with the phone, the bluetooth would automatically connect and disconnect when I turned the bluetooth on or off on the phone. I have noticed with the note 2 that I have to press connect on the phone every time I turn the bluetooth on.
I have been having problems with my bluetooth headsets/speakerphones. I am able to start voice dialing from the headset and connect a call but the call then transfers to the handset mic and earpiece. If I want to speak through my bluetooth headset I have to toggle the bluetooth button on the screen.
Hi all, rooted-stock 4.0.4 on a Verizon Galaxy S3. I have an Alpine EX-10 bluetooth kit for the car that uses the A2DP profile.
Hopefully someone can help with this.
I've paired my RMHD with my car's Bluetooth (2010 Prius). It works fine on the first call, but the next call only goes to the phone, not through the car's BT. When I turn the car off, the next time I turn it on, same thing happens.
I've used BT with my old phone (tbolt) in that car and other cars with no issues.
Anyone else experiencing this?
