So I've setup chargers at multiple places in my home, in both cars and at work. I noticed differences in charge levels and charging times between these and was trying to rectify those with problems. Did a bit of reading and this is what I understood.
High power chargers(2.0 A or even 1.0 A) will charge the device faster.
Micro USB cables can be data/charge cables or charge only cables.
I think it isn't normal as my TF300 gets really hot (at the back&front of 3.5mm headset jack side) while i charge it today.
Ill cut to the chase. I plug my phone in and it says its charging, but the battery level still goes down. I unplug it and it doesn't still say it charging. I can still connect to my computer but the phone wont charge at all. Ive switched batteries out from my wifes phone, and Ive been using her phone to charge my battery. Any idea on whats going on?

I have tried several Android emulators, and they are always charging at 50%. I have checked my computer and it is plugged in to the wall, but no matter how long I wait, the charge stays at 50%. I think Google needs to include better batteries. Are there changes that I can make to my code to make it charge faster?

I am BEYOND disappointed with my Samsung Galaxy S2. My husband and I both purchased Galaxy S2's a couple of months ago and almost immediately after getting them I had trouble charging mine. The phone battery drains quickly, sometimes gets really hot, and then, started to not take a charge at all.
Came off a Samsung Charge which I got in the spring of 2011, The charge was my first smartphone...I held out with an old Nokia candybar phone for 6 years because of its far superior signal strength.
The Charge being my first smartphone, it has to be the baseline which I measure by. The charge had MAJOR issues with data connectivity...I had 3 of them, all of them bad....very slow browser, etc.
