I'm not sure how easy this would be to add, but I think it'd be a great feature-
Monitor showing total players online at current time in all servers (for display on game server host website).
I'm in the market for a second monitor. Actually it will take the place of my current monitor but I'll be using them for dual screens. I admit I game casually but love a good looking and smooth flowing game. I dabble in FPS mostly. I also do a bit of amateur photography with a Canon 60D so I want images to look good on said monitor.
With modern technology, companies and businesses will never usually have a problem trying to raise sales because of the cheap and easy process of web hosting. A website is a creative and innovative way to provide customers with easy accessibility to a business’ information online. It is convenient because anyone can access it any place, at any time.
Basically I've been trying to find a game like Worms Reloaded or Worms Revolution, but for Linux, for free, and with enough online players to make it enjoyable.
I've tried Hedgewars and Warmux, and both weren't bad, but the online, well basically doesn't exist, there are no servers to be played on, in fact I'm pretty sure both only do LAN parties, which isn't what I'm looking for as I don't know
Even for a layman , its important to know the concept of web hosting. Visiting any website shows a web page that is downloaded from the web server onto the user’s web browser. Generally, web site is made up of many web pages and web page is made up of texts and graphic images. Now these pages are then stored and made available for the visitors on web servers.
I'm building a new PC at the moment. The decision on what parts I wanted was easy, except for one thing: the monitor. Oh boy, I would have never thought that it could take so long. There are so many options ...
What do I want?
My current monitor is a Dell 2407 WFP-HC (1920x1200 / S-PVA) from 2007 with ~30k hours.
I am in need of a decent ASP.NET 1.1 host for an old website. The current host is getting out of the business, and I'm not interested in upgrading to a newer ASP.NET version or replacing the website at this time. I'll just need <200mb of space and a single SQL server.
