http://crunchbang.org – I have an Acer Predator ag3-605-ur24 with an Atheros wireless card.  I've noticed that every time I lock the computer or leave it unattended long enough to go to sleep, the wireless disconnects and a box pops up asking for my password to log back in; if I'm away from the computer for a while, I might come back to 50+ of these boxes.  However, when I click connect (the password is filled in automatically), the wireless invariably fails to turn back on.  I've noticed that the only solution is to open a terminal and enter : sudo modprobe -r ath9k sudo (HowTos)
