It's been here for three years. I've used Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, and Arch all to varying degrees (Arch longest (2 years), and most recently)), but I came into #!

Hey guys, I installed Arch on Sunday, and haven't been able to get the wireless card working. I've installed the correct drivers with fwcutter, and went through the steps with iwconfig, but when I tried obtaining an IP address with dhcpcd, it times out. Also, I installed wicd, which tries to connect but says Unable to get IP address.
I've recently been having some very sluggish wireless performance on the Broadcom 4313 [14E4:4727], running on the Broadcom STA Driver (bcmwl-kernel-source from the repos, as activated via "Administration" -> "Hardware Drivers").
This is all running on a Lenovo G555, Ubuntu 10.04 64bit.

Hi Guys,I have a new laptop (Toshiba) that both the wired and wireless NICS are not supported. I know how to get the wireless at least to work in Ubuntu (I would compile the drivers under virtualbox and then use remastersys to create the ISO) the big issue here is I'm totally board with Ubuntu and want to use Arch. I have been playing around the Larch and Archiso with no success at all.
It's hard to sumamrise this into a title, but it's simple.
On the Acer Aspire One, there's a button on the bottom to turn on and off the wireless card. In Ubuntu, it does work, but is sporadic and difficult, so I leave it alone.
Instead, I cilck on the wireless icon at the top and disable it.
