I was just wondering, since my galaxy s3 is not compatible with flash player, is there an app that I can use as an alternative so I can still watch videos that are running on flash player?
Using Samsung galaxy tab 10.1. OS 4. Can't get Adobe flash player working. Have manually installed archived version 11.1 On the website I am trying to view, it states adobe flash player is not supported on this mobile device. That website states adobe flash player 9.0 or higher needed. The website must have changed something as prior to now i was always able to view the videos.
My default browser is SeaMonkey and there is no more support for Flash Player
for Linux as per the adobe website:
NOTE: Adobe Flash Player 11.2 will be the last version to target Linux as a supported platform.
I have the ubuntu adobe flash player plugin from the software centre.. and By the way i am on ubuntu 10.10 since this computer can't handle the newer ubuntu.. :|. I'm wondering how do i do a clean install of the flash player plugin? I know to uninstall it but is there a profile folder that it is in that i should delete after the sudo apt-get remove of it?
OK, after much research and hair pulling I've found why I can't get Flash Player to work. I'm running an old AMD Athlone 2800xp machine and apparently Flash does not get on with the cpu.
I've downloaded Flash Player 9 from the Adobe archive but I really need someone to work me through how to uninstall the current Flash Player and then get this one installed.
