This question and the answer teach us how to introduce colour into tcsh prompts.
This webpage explains nicely how to get colour into any output of the echo command:
> echo \\e[1\;30mBLACK\\e[0m
BLACK
> echo '\e[1;30mBLACK\e[0m'
BLACK
The word 'BLACK' in the example above is printed with a black (or darkgrey) foreground colour (depending on the overal
Hi all.
Sorry, bit of a n00b with Android hence the question.
I have a Galaxy Nexus running JB 4.2 and I've started playing around with (basic) customisation. Is it possible to change the colour of the Status and System Icons at the top of the screen from the default blue? Preferably to white.
No web developer can go a day without encountering any method of representing colour on the web. There are many ways of representing colour, some have advantages and disadvantages over others, but of course, the vastly popular and most well-known option is hex colour codes.

Pixel Colors is an addictive puzzle based strategy game that requires a mixture of skill and luck in order to accomplish.
To be successful you need to change the colour of the squares until the entire screen is a single solid colour.
I have an HP Photosmart C4270. Whenever I print text, gray, or black, the printer only uses the colour cartridge to make said colour. The colour cartridge is empty before you know it, and the (cheaper) black one is never in use. This even happens when I tick 'Print text in black' in LibreOffice...
Does anyone know what to do about this?
Hello everyone,
I was very curious if someone could tell me how I can install the new version of wine 1.1.34 on Fedora Core 12, is there maybe anywhere a good guide that shows me how to do this?
I tried searching the forum but I could not really find any information about this.
Hi,
I'm asking this question not for myself but for a friend who is colour-blind (completely; he only sees black white and grey)
Is there a way to get rid of the colours in Command Line? I mean things like maps are blue (right?) and that sort of stuff. Can it be reset in such a way that there are no colours?
Thanks
I'm using the ambiance theme (the dark one) in Ubuntu 12.04.2. I've tweaked things using dconf-editor so that the select colour is blue (#4a90d9 if anybody cares).
What I'd like to do is make the close button in the theme match this selection colour.
Obviously, the button's colour is dictated by the .png file in the theme, so I tried making a separate theme for this and changing the files.
Hi all!
I've done a fresh install of Fedora 18 (LXDE).
All gone for the best...
