Stuck in dock mode?

http://forums.androidcentral.com – All of a sudden, my phone randomly goes into the weather/time dock homescreen, and the home button now brings me to this screen, not the home screen. I did drop my phone in shallow slush friday night, but it didn't start until sunday. I bought it less than a month ago, it should be under warranty, but I hate to have to bring it back so soon....my last android phone (optimus one) was near indestructible! If the Galaxy phones are this fragile, I may ask to switch to the HTC One V, which looks sturdier. (HowTos)

I just purchased my second car dock for my Droid x2. The phone would not charge while in the dock on the first one I bought. The second one is doing the same thing. The phone goes in to dock mode but the phone will not charge while in the dock. If I plug the charger directly into the phone, it charges just fine so I know the charger is ok.

I often put my Bionic in the Car Dock while driving as I like the Tunein Radio app. Of course when I put it in, it goes to Car Dock mode. Now, I always just press the back button to get to the main home screen, but I have noticed that the large icons on the Car Dock home screen, the Navigation, Voice Search, etc, will sometimes be orange and sometimes be white.

At first I thought it may be caused by user error. Being a novice to smart phones it was the logical assumption.

Lately my HTC Evo V will not wake up out of its sleep-mode when I get an incoming phone call.

I have a Galaxy Y. I turn off the phone to start it in recovery mode, but I don't know if I press the power,volume and home buttons before it completely shut off and now the phone is stuck on the Galaxy screen. I have taken the battery, memory, and Sim card out and tried getting in to recovery mode but it just keeps going into the welcome screen. what can I do, please help!

Hi all newbie here and did a few searches and tried to look for help but could not find right info, also I hope I am in the right spot to post so please feel free to tell me if I am not in the right place. Currently running ICS 4.0.4 up-to-date at time of writing on Vodafone Australia but I don't think the country of service provider is the problem.

HELP...I was mucking about with my phone last night after updating to JB 4.1.2 I switched the Talk back function on to try it out, big mistake because now I can't turn the bloody thing off, and it keeps talking, telling me every thing on the screen, the phone has somehow got stuck in this mode.

I don't use any lock screen and I always use the home button to wake my phone up.

Since official JB, the home button not only wakes the phone up but it closes the app I'm in.

galaxy 2s stuck 34 weeks 5 days ago

Hi all,

My first post here. Just got a galaxy 2s set it up and all was working well for about 12 hours. Made my first phone call ended it then when I came to use it again the screen was stuck on the dial pad saying emergency calls only. I press the home button but it wont leave the dial screen, same if I press the back button.

Hi, i have an international Galaxy S3 (i-9300). I recently updated to Jelly Bean via Samsung Kies (baseband version I9300DXDLI5) and there's a change that has been bugging me. In stock ICS, when the screen turned off due to inactivity, pressing either the power button or the home button would turn on the screen and lets me pick up where i left off.
