Streaming music via bluetooth with openSUSE

http://forums.opensuse.org – I've been looking at ways to wirelessly stream music from my laptop to my hifi amp. Many of the wifi solutions work out quite expensive. I came across this, which so far the seems the cheapest and easiest way, using bluetooth with a Belkin Bluetooth Music receiver. Can anyone tell me if the openSUSE bluetooth stack (using KDE4.3 supports A2DP. (Distributions)

It is a Bluetooth receiver which allows you to plug into it, a stereo or in my case a pair of nice existing (non-bluetooth) headphones.

I've had bluetooth headphones before, but they were expensive and not all that comfortable.

Hi all, rooted-stock 4.0.4 on a Verizon Galaxy S3. I have an Alpine EX-10 bluetooth kit for the car that uses the A2DP profile.

I have my laptop running Ubuntu 10.04 LTS connected via builtin wifi. I bought a USB bluetooth adaptor and reroute the audio to a bluetooth receiver for my computer speakers. But when I play streaming music from Youtube or Pandora, the bluetooth degrades the wifi bandwidth so much that streaming is impossible due to constant pausing to buffer the audio.

Hello, can anyone recommend me a bluetooth headset that can be used to stream music to and can also be used on the PS3 as a standard headset?

Looking around it seems some bluetooth headsets you can play music through and some you can't, but I have no idea what determines if you can or not.

I have my S3 connected to my car (Ford Mondeo 09) via bluetooth, which supports A2DP. When I am streaming music from my S3 the google nav voice comes through the car speakers, but the problem is the music is not muted so the voice is trying to talk over the music and I cant hear the commands.

Does anybody know if there a way I can get the music to pause/fade whilst the nav commands are read plea

My laptop successfully paired with my MT over bluetooth, and I was able to send a file from my phone to my laptop. However, when I go to my laptop and try to scan for services (right clicking phone in device manager -> properties -> services), nothing shows up. Does anyone know why this is?

I also tried connecting it with my brand new laptop, which supports bluetooth as well.

Hi. I'm looking at purchasing an A2DP stereo bluetooth adapter for my car, and was wondering if there are any units that are externally powered (no battery) via USB and will automatically pair with the phone without input from me. I;m looking at music streaming only- no voice capability.

I recently installed an Alpine CDE 133BT deck into my car so that I could stream music over bluetooth and charge my phone via the USB port on the front of the deck.

In F17 with Gnome3 my laptop boots with Bluetooth enabled.
