Strange & unwanted delete behavior

http://crunchbanglinux.org – I've noticed that when deleting files on secondary (internal) hard drives on my computer, the files are actually moved to my boot drive, where they apparently reside in trash until I empty that trash.I got wind of the problem through noticing how long it took to delete larger (>500 MB) files.
