Strange & unwanted delete behavior

http://crunchbanglinux.org – I've noticed that when deleting files on secondary (internal) hard drives on my computer, the files are actually moved to my boot drive, where they apparently reside in trash until I empty that trash.I got wind of the problem through noticing how long it took to delete larger (>500 MB) files. Moving to trash should be instant, yet these were creating some hard disk crunch, and took about as long as one would expect a copy operation would take (a few seconds).Moreover, in Conky, I saw the size of the data on my boot drive go up with the size of the file (this would disappear again when (HowTos)
